Soooo, I’m a little late with this one!! That just means that the prize will be that much better!!

This is a pretty easy challenge so hopefully we will get loads of participation!! This week, I am challenging you to scrap about your favorite food. This layout may or may not include a picture…your choice.

Often times we forget to scrap about ourselves, so this is the perfect time to add to the “Book of Me” that we all should be creating. I know that I am guilty of always scrapping about my child!! Well, part of leaving behind a legacy is also leaving behind a story about yourself. One day someone should be able to pull out your book and learn a lot about who you were. So, pull out those pictures and journaling cards and show me what you got!!

Projects must be linked and posted by midnight (CST) on Saturday, March 28th. Make sure you link your project to the thread in the Cybercrops & Challenges FORUM, not the blog!

Amy dares you to get back to the basics:

My dare to you this week is to do a LO using ONLY the very basics……card stock, patterned paper & a pen……can you do it?? I do not want to see any kind of pre-made, store-bought embellies whatsoever…no bling, no ribbons, buttons, chipboard…..only cs, pp & pen. Now, don’t despair….think of all the possibilities….you can cut designs out of the pp, use punches to punch shapes from your cs, use your pen for doodling & some hand-written journaling. Use your imagination & let me see how creative you can be using just the basics.

Ok, anyone that spends time shopping with me knows that I LOVE polka dots! Love them pokies!

So my challenge to you this week is to use polka dots or doodling with dots. Do one and your name goes in the hat once, combine them both on ONE layout (polka dots and doodling with dots) and your name will go in the hat twice. Easy sneezy challenge!

I will send a happy to the winner.

So, I have a real dare for you! I want you to be daring…….make a scrapbook page about your favorite “swear” word. That’s right. You read that correctly. Your favorite “swear”word. Even if you don’t swear, you must have some favorite word you use when you drop your buttons all over the floor, or poke a brad into the end of your finger, or find a misspelled word AFTER you scan and post!

My dare for you this week is a journaling challenge……I don’t want you to journal like you usually do on a journaling tag/spot or paragraph style……I want you to journal AROUND your photos. Maybe just around one photo or maybe around the outside edge of the page or like I did in the example below where I journaled around the whole photo group. Show me what ya got & be creative!!

Yeah, it would be so easy to challenge you to do a layout about someone or something that you love, but nope, not going to happen. Yes, it would also be easy to challenge you to use pink or red, but nope, not going to happen!

What your challenge is: to go to the gallery and find a layout that you love (had to have something to do with love since it is almost Valentine’s Day) and lift it, but there is a twist to it (literally) — you have to turn the layout 90 degrees for your lift. You can turn it either to the left or to the right.

When you’re done, post a link here in your comment, or HERE in the challenge thread. Have fun!

Okay….my turn! Hmmm…..well….you guys know how I LOVE stash type challenges….so….I’m going to list some items and you must have a minimum of 4 of the items on the page…..you can use all of them but I want to see at least 5 of them! You can do it!!!!

3 different patterned papers
chipboard (no alphas here….)
handwriting
red heart
tree (not in picture, must be some type of embellishment)
at least 4 buttons
at least 3 eyelets
an arrow

Now no combining of items! For example, you can’t combine one of the pp’s with the red heart (like cutting the heart out of a piece of red pp)….

Hey, guys! Looks like it’s been a while since we’ve done a page about ourselves. Well, for most of us, anyway.
So this week I dare you to scrap a page about yourself. Heck, it doesn’t even have to be about you exclusively, as long as it has a picture of you on it somewhere.

Post it in our gallery, or on your blog or wherever, and link it back to this thread or in a reply to the blog post.

However you choose to do it is fine….it might be your Top 10 favorite songs right now, maybe your Top 10 favorite chick flicks to watch….10 books you have read most recently, 10 staples that are ALWAYS in your pantry, 10 favorite Bible verses or like me, I’m going to interview Alli & record some of her favorites right now at 10 years old.
